Attention Seniors:
Scholarship information is available in the school bulletin, school website and the counselor's office. The bulletin and the website will be updated throughout the year so keep checking these sources and please note the "deadlines" as most scholarships are time sensitive.
SCHOLARSHIPS
American Legion Scholarships
Criteria for American Legion Scholarships:
- Resident of Missouri, under the age of 21, unmarried, descendant of a veteran with at least 90 days active service in U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard who received an Honorable Discharge. A photocopy of the veteran's DD 214, discharge or separation notice must accompany the scholarship application. American Legion Scholarships are as follows:
M.D. "Jack" Murphy Memorial Nurses Training Fund
Amount: $750 for 2 semesters for student going into nursing

Lillie Lois Ford Scholarship Fund
Amount: Two $1000 awards
Criteria: Applicant must meet application criteria (see application in counselor's office).

Joseph J. Frank Scholarship
Amount: Five awards of $5,000
Criteria: Applicant must meet application criteria (see application in counselor's office).

Charles L. Bacon Memorial Scholarship
Amount: Two awards of $500
Criteria: Applicant must meet application criteria (see application in counselor's office).

Erman W. Taylor Memorial Scholarship
Amount: Two awards of $500
Criteria: Applicant must meet application criteria (see application in counselor's office).

Shane Dean Voyles Memorial Scholarship
Amount: One award of $500

Scholarship: Kansas City Associated Equipment Distributors 2013 Scholarship
Amount: Four annual scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each ($500 per semester) to four full-time students attending a vocational/technical school and pursuing a certificate in or associates degree in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Repair.
